Revolut lets you link your card to a Crypto Pocket so purchases are paid by auto-converting your crypto at checkout. You can set it to spend from all crypto accounts (highest balance first) or from a specific token, create a virtual crypto card, and add it to Apple Pay/Google Pay—all inside the app.
Quick Facts
-
Product: Revolut Crypto Card (custodial; converts crypto to fiat at payment).
-
Cards: Virtual (instant) and physical; virtual cards support Apple Pay/Google Pay.
-
Spend logic: Choose “all crypto” or a specific Crypto Pocket; if crypto is insufficient, the payment is declined.
-
Fees: Revolut states no extra fee for the crypto→fiat conversion on card payments (plan fair-usage fees may apply). Regular trading fees apply when you buy/sell crypto in-app.
-
Availability: Features vary by country/plan; see personal terms & crypto terms.
How It Works
-
Open Revolut → Crypto and enable pay from crypto; pick all crypto or a specific Crypto Pocket.
-
Create a virtual crypto card (optional) and add it to Apple Pay/Google Pay; or link your existing personal card.
-
Pay online/in-store. Revolut auto-converts to the merchant currency and completes the purchase.
-
(Optional) Top up or trade inside the app; trading fees follow your plan/30-day volume tier.
